chandlery and marina at Manly, south of Brisbane. His children, daughter Danielle and son Jason, have both taken up the sport of sailing with resounding success.

In July 1990 he represented Australia in the 420 class in Holland finishing third overall.
In August this year (1991), he will be crewing with Teague Czislowfki in his 470 yacht in the World Series Championships to be held in Rimini, Italy.
